The sensational properties of sheepskin make for a perfect boot. With the fleece against your skin the boot is air conditioned in summers and warm in winter. Wool fleece can be worn without socks. If you did that with synthetic fur your feet would perspire and smell up in short order.

Using cold water and using Woolite keeps the fading at a minimum due to washing. Uggs will stretch with wear. A good fitting pair should fit snug and not too tight.

To deodorize the boot, use equal amounts of baking soda and corn flour and sprinkle them inside the boot. Shake the dust around especially around the bottom. Let this concoction stay overnight and shake out the excess the next morning and you’re good to go.
