Plus sized women already have a lot of limitations when it comes to buying clothing as it is and buying workout apparel is no different. Try being a heavy set woman that has made the decision to start being more active and then goes shopping for workout gear only to find they cannot fit into any of the workout gear.
Most plus size stores do not even offer workout apparel. I am a size– and wear a size L-XL top in women’s sizes and I have shopped at sporting goods stores and out of the hundreds of workout tops available, I may only find a small handful of tops in an XL that I can even fit into. This leaves larger women with only one option, they have to buy large over sized t-shirts. I used to even buy men’s t-shirts because an extra large men’s t-shirt was just right for a size 22 woman. Ok, so after they “settle” for some over-sized t-shirt then then need to find a sports bra. oh no! They can’t! Finding a plus sized sports bra is worse than shopping for work out gear. They are nearly non-existent and if someone offers a “plus sized” sports bra they usually only go up to size 40-DD. Read more... (515 words)

Item number two is that you need to make sure that the pants you choose compliment your body well. You shouldn’t wear pants that show off areas of your body that should remain private. And at the same time you will need them to be tight enough to not fall off your body in certain positions.
The 3rd thing is that you want to find colors that will hide sweat a little bit. The worst color for sweat is obviously gray so you want to stay away from gray and other colors that will show too much sweat in the gym. Read more... (379 words)
