Garage Sales: This has been a great way to find used children’s clothing at very low prices, and they are making a come back in these tough financial times. If you can find a good area of town with a lot of affluent parents you can likely find some great yard sale prices.
Thrift Stores: From the big stores such as Goodwill or the Salvation Army to small mom-and-pop type thrift stores, this is another old but still relevant way to find reduced prices on clothing for your little ones. Kids grow way too fast these days and keeping up appearances has never been more important to most children. Oddly, once they reach a certain age, they no longer seem content to run around in whatever they grab first from the closet. Suddenly, kids clothing is all about labels and styles. Who would have ever thought your children would be so fashion conscious?
This way, you’ll know when the hottest sales are happening and be ready to save. Many department stores have gotten into the habit of sending email coupons and specials to their online customers. Make sure that when you visit your favorite retail stores or websites, you sign up for email savings.
Sometimes retail stores run specials that last only for an hour or may last all day long. You usually need a special code or offer number to get the savings when shopping online. Most of us have children at some point or another in our lives. They can be the whole reason we exist sometimes. Taking care of them is a full time job in and of it self. Finding kids clothing is also a full time job. It seems kids favorite thing to do is grow really fast so you have to buy mew clothing every month.
In addition to buying clothing you have to keep them fed and bathed as well. In most cases the food you buy will end up on the clothes you buy. Make sure you have a decent detergent to clean it all out with. Nothings worse than mud or pasta sauce mixed in with paint. Sorry if I made some of you cringe in fear.
Kids will play as hard as they can as often as they can, it’s what they do. They will dig in any dirt pit, roll around in any pile of leaves they can find, and anything else they can get into.
