Men’s wedding bands represent men’s promise to their wives to remain faithful and loyal for as long as they live. These valuable pieces stand as symbols of everlasting love and loyalty.
The act of exchanging wedding bands has been a practice all over the world. This can be linked back to ancient Egypt, when Egyptians exchanged bracelets and rings made from reeds and other plants growing on the Nile River. This is done to signify a couple’s never-ending love forever during marriage or whenever there’s a union.
Wedding bands for men are not that popular before. During the World War II, men started to wear wedding bands. The separation from their wives would be eased off by wearing the wedding bands. The wedding rings served as reminders of their love and commitment.

Wedding rings can be made out of several different types of metals, or even a combination of more than one type. Selecting the metal for wedding rings is a very personal decision, however most traditional rings will be made of types of golds, platinum or silver.
Wedding rings for men as well as those for women are usually matching, at least in the type of metal of the wedding bands. Selecting the color of the metal from gold to the silver colors typically depends on what colors of metals the couple most commonly wears.
One very popular new metal used in wedding rings for both men and women is titanium. Titanium wedding rings come in a wide range of styles from classic bands to inset diamonds or other gems or even carved or sculpted rings, often in Celtic types of designs.
One feature that is possible with titanium as opposed to more traditional metals is that it can actually be permanently colored. Oxidization treatments are used to tint the titanium and create a variety of colors that are permanent and non-fading.
