If you are a skier and want to learn snowboarding, then you must first of all understand the difference between the two sports. The basic difference is that skiing is done on two skis while snowboarding is done on a single snowboard. You already know how it feels to slide across the snow with both your feet bound to an equipment, all you need to do is to get used to a single board instead of two skis.
While skiing, you have to put your body weight on both the skis attached to your feet that may stand apart from each other. But in snowboarding, you have to balance your body weight on an edge of the board and keep yourself balanced. As you are not given any poles to hold on to in snowboarding, you may take some time to get used to it. To deal with this, the first thing that you need to learn is how to fall without getting ourselves injured. A vacation is a time for laughter and relaxation for the whole family. It is a great opportunity to forget about your work and the kids school activities, and just concentrate on being with your kids.
Designate a bag for each child and have them put in it whatever they will be taking on the vacation. Make sure that the things that they are packing are important – some kids tend to want to pack everything. Put labels on each bag in order to be organized and to avoid mix up. In order to pack more in each backpack, have them roll the clothes tightly. Pack the light clothes first followed by the heavy clothes – it will make your backpack lighter.
When choosing which clothes to bring, consider the weather conditions. If you are going to a hot place, be sure to bring in your sunglasses, sun hats and some sun protection lotion. Make sure the clothes you bring are comfortable to wear and easy to put on and take off. Don’t forget to bring a jacket and a pair of long pants for each member during cold weather. Read more...
