We all know that Bob Marley can never live without his herbs. In fact, he proved to love this so much so as to quote “Herb is the healing of a nation, alcohol is the destruction.”
It has been many years since the King of Reggae uttered these words. And ever since, we have always been faced with the truth that marijuana poses lots of health dangers to the human body, somehow contradicting to what Marley said as “the healing of a nation.” But he did mention correctly that “alcohol is the destruction.” But somehow that quote still misses much more important key points, not only alcohol is dangerous but also any bad habits, drugs, and even any tendency that will lead a person to destroy himself.
It usually occurs during the teenage years; peer pressure had always played a big part in using pot. For teens to become part of a trend, they resort to marijuana. Some may evolve and then become enlightened with maturity, while others may still take this habit as they grow older. It then leads to more dysfunctional human beings, broken homes, and depression. Urban clothing started from the New York City, but very soon, it became popular in cities like Chicago, Detroit and Los Angeles. Urban clothing is also known as hip-hop clothing or street clothing. The reason is that it is a favourite clothing of hip-hop artists. Urban clothing was introduced in the late 1970s and early 1980s. With the passage of time, the style of urban clothing changed, because some artists and designers started creating clothing lines of their own.
Hip hop music groups became famous in the late 1980s, and they began wearing urban clothing. Hip hop music was very popular among teenagers, and they adopted their style by wearing this clothing. Designers very promptly recognized this trend, and they quickly set about connecting themselves with some popular superstars. Nike, Keds, Kangol and Adidas were some of the famous companies of that time that started making special accessories for the superstars.
In the same period, urban clothing leaned more towards accessories as people wanted the type of jewellery worn by hip-hop performers. Kurtis Blow and Salt-N-Pepa were two famous artists who were wearing heavy gold necklaces and earrings, and the same became fashion in the streets. It’s no wonder when the weekend hits you’re ready to kick back and brighten up. Of course, you can’t spend too much money or you’ll be eating baked beans for the next week and moving back in with your Mum. So, how do you make yourself feel better without breaking the budget? Easy. Get into one of your funny mens t-shirts.
We all know that good quality, comfortable, stylish clothes make us feel better. Not sure there’s been any scientific research done – but let’s just take it as a universal truth.
