Since the beginning of time, humans have made use of creating ornamental jewelry for their personal adornment. In fact recently, there have been located Nassaruis shell beads, that date back as far as one hundred thousand years. That is a very long time when you consider the manufacturing of functional and decorative jewelry. However, historically many jewelry items were first created as a means of fastening ones clothing, the display of wealth and status in society as well as for creating storage units for coins and other trinkets in jewelry boxes. With a bit of research, you will find that various cultures have their own cherished wealthy possessions of precious metals and gemstones. Long ago, wedding dowries included such treasures as the family jewels for a daughter about to be married.
The Early Age of Jewelry
The Cro-Magnons were some of the first jewelry makers, approximately 40,000 years ago. The graves of Cro-Magnons, were commonly found with jewelry made from anything from mother-of-pearl, to stones, bones, teeth and mammoth tusks. Nearly business all executives and office employees have a briefcase. They use it to hold their papers, documents and other office-related things. Some would even have their laptop in it. They see it as the best travel companion which suits their lifestyle.
The history of briefcase would date back from the–th century when people used the basic form of the briefcase called a satchel to carry their treasures like coins or the primitive forms of money. They would use it as a container for these possessions while they travel. It is used the same way at present. It has evolved though to the form that we recognize today.
Briefcases can be used to bring other items as well such as organizers, water bottles, cellphones and other more personal belongings. It is very easy to use because it is custom fit to be carried with ease. They also have adjustable straps and spacious compartments.
Using these items as a trade show giveaway is indeed a clever choice. You may add your logo in front for all the world to see. Despite the advancement in fashion and technology there are still a small number of unisex watches available. It is only in recent years that there has been more designs available which can be worn by any gender. Watches can be worn to casual events or even to formal social gatherings. Jewelry of all types is very popular in the world today.
When many people think about fashion items such as accessories and especially watches, their tastes are generally dictated by gender lines. Who can blame them a woman wouldn’t want to wear a very masculine watch as would a man wouldn’t wear a feminine watch. But why should these lines be put on such exquisite time pieces. The same can be said for men’s and women’s pocket calculators. While they are not utilized anymore one can use this and analyze watches. Will watches one day become as obsolete as pocket calculators? With all the advancements of cell phones they have replaced many of the devices of yesteryear. Calculators, music/MP3 players, day planners, and PDAs have all been replaced by the cell phone. Will watches suffer the same fate? Who knows, watches may become an item only utilized by outdoor adventurers and sports players.
