Despite the advancement in fashion and technology there are still a small number of unisex watches available. It is only in recent years that there has been more designs available which can be worn by any gender. Watches can be worn to casual events or even to formal social gatherings. Jewelry of all types is very popular in the world today.
When many people think about fashion items such as accessories and especially watches, their tastes are generally dictated by gender lines. Who can blame them a woman wouldn’t want to wear a very masculine watch as would a man wouldn’t wear a feminine watch. But why should these lines be put on such exquisite time pieces. The same can be said for men’s and women’s pocket calculators. While they are not utilized anymore one can use this and analyze watches. Will watches one day become as obsolete as pocket calculators? With all the advancements of cell phones they have replaced many of the devices of yesteryear. Calculators, music/MP3 players, day planners, and PDAs have all been replaced by the cell phone. Will watches suffer the same fate? Who knows, watches may become an item only utilized by outdoor adventurers and sports players. When people think about replica watches they picture many things. They envision a poorly made time piece which knocks off the design of high end expensive luxury watches. While the law may be hazy on the actual legality of replica watches many people don’t realize that they make very smart buys. Besides a watch is a watch and why pay more when you can practically get the same for a lot less?
Just like any other business there are a few dishonest vendors selling low quality replicas. But you can still find many vendors who sell high quality replicas at reasonable prices. People believe that replica watches are cheaply made, but that isn’t true. As a matter of fact replica watches are made in the same factories as their luxurious counterparts. The factories supply the world with luxurious thousand dollar watches and discreetly put out the replicas to rival the prices. What it all boils down to is price and functionality. Okay, so it’s a knock off, a counterfeit but that’s what makes it sexy, too, if you think about it, the very forbidden nature of the thing. I mean, come on, ripped jeans are still in vogue! So why not a replica watch that looks and works like its brand name equivalent what’s wrong with that? And in these hard times, hey, why not save yourself hundreds of dollars for what’s functionally the exact same thing?
Don’t get me wrong though; there are dishonest vendors in the world willing to scam you out of money. But with some careful shopping you’ll be able to find the inexpensive duplicates easily, which more often than not work just as well as their expensive counterparts. The cheap watches look just as well and appear just as nice as the expensive watches because they are made in the same factory. The same factory supplies the world with expensive thousand dollar luxury watches and the black market with the inexpensive knock offs. Its a tricky proposition to try and improve on a classic, but the Timex Ironman Solar Shock is a worthy successor to the classic Triathlon. Its easy to use, eye catching, and unbelievably affordable.
The watch has many different features and functions. But one of the more notable and important part of any watch is the screen. If the screen is made poorly the whole watch can suffer. Thankfully the screen on the Timex Ironman Solar Shock is amazing. It is so bright and vibrant one can read the time and other information displayed on it at any angle and still make out what the watch is showcasing.
Solar power is an absolute necessity in a quartz watch, as no one wants to trouble over battery changes. The Ironman solar power system also puts the watch to sleep when it is not in use or facing a light source to conserve power. Pressing any button or returning the watch to the light will wake it.
To synchronize and adjust the time the Ironman Solar Shock features a manual winding system. The winding mechanism is quite simple to use. The ability to use atomic time calibration and synch up to the world time from the transmission stations is absent from the watch. Read more... (457 words)
