For soon-to-be parents, pregnancy often feels like the best time of their lives. For the woman, there is great anticipation for the arrival of her bouncing baby, and for her husband, there is the promise of the feeling of being a dad. Both share in the excitement that mounts as her stomach grows and look forward to sharing the journey of parenthood with their child. Neither is really worried about kids clothing and other future concerns.
Babies promise a lifetime of happiness to their parents. Still, there are things that come with that happiness that many parents forget amidst their excitement. When their child is born, they become suddenly aware of how much he or she needs to be raised. All these things cost money, and parents create an unfavourable situation in not knowing how to handle the expenses.
Clothes are one of the most noteworthy of all the new costs there are to cover. Even before they’re in regular clothes, children have to wear diapers, which add up very quickly. Then consider having to buy all types of clothing later on, and things can easily be overwhelming. If you feel unprepared, here are some tips to save money on clothes. Read more... (600 words)

It really does not matter how much money you have, everyone likes to save money when they go shopping. Regardless if you are using it to buy more kids clothing or to keep some money in the bank, money saved is truly money earned.
The harsh reality of it all is that with the economy being the way it is, a lot of stores cannot afford to cut prices because of declining sales. Those big discount days seem to have gone by the wayside and our pockets are paying the price.
It is almost refreshing when you see a company that is looking at the everyday person and pricing things so that we can actually get the finer things in life without the big ticket prices that often come with them. It is nice to finally be able to buy your kids the best clothing available and not having to take a second job in order to do so.
The discounts that you will find at www.growinggrowinggone.ca are second to none. Forget about a small savings of 5 or 10%, most of these prices are marked down 25% or more. It is almost as though they are having a 2 for 1 sale every day of the week. Read more... (374 words)

How sick and tired are you of paying a small fortune for kids clothing? The way things are these days, you can end up paying just as much if not more for kid’s clothes as you do for your own. If you are buying designer labels, that credit card of yours is probably screaming.
The biggest problem many of us have with putting out kids in designer clothing is the cost. How do you justify paying $35 for a skirt that they will outgrow in just a few months? The kids may not be happy about it, but plain old bargain clothes will have to do most of the time on limited budgets.
There is finally a site out there that has exactly these concerns in mind and it is www.growinggrowinggone.ca. Not only are all of the kids clothes discounted, they are labels that you and your child would absolutely kill for.
Pick your favorite designer label. Now think of a price that you would see at a department store. Now take a seat so you don’t end up on the floor in shock at the discounts that are offered at GrowingGrowingGone. If 35% or more off doesn’t put you into shock, nothing will. Read more... (394 words)

I am a mother of two children (one girl and one boy) and as a result I have received a lot of baby gifts. Some gifts which I have loved and some that sat in the back of the closet. This article is for anybody who is wondering what to buy for a baby shower gift. What most parents need is not the cutest outfit out there; they also need it to be functional.
1) Do not buy blue or pink clothing:
This is a personal preference but I have talked to other mothers who feel the same way. When my daughter was born everybody bought pink outfits. The closet was a sea of pink, there was so much pink that I was sick of the colour. My husband’s and my favourite outfit soon became a rusty orange colour set. It complemented her skin tone and – it was not pink. That colour came back to haunt me for a second time when I had my son; I found that I could not reuse the generic clothing like sleepers, socks and onesies because they were all pink. Read more... The recession is affecting everyone. Paychecks are getting smaller and bank accounts are getting emptied out. However, there are still things like buying kids clothing that have to be done. The reality of it is that your kids are growing and they need new clothes.
When you are trying to save money, the kids are often forced to give up those designer labels and go with some bargain store brands. However, these types of clothing often disappoint in sturdiness and then you end up spending more than if you would have purchased designer labels in the first place.
Why is it that we are all being forced to take cuts yet stores continue to raise prices? Why is there not a store that takes the economy into consideration when they establish their pricing? Oops, there is! www.GrowingGrowingGone.ca offers discounts that will have your jaw on the ground.
If there was ever a store that offers the impossible, this is it. You can often find designer labels at prices that are actually less than that of the no name brands. Imagine getting clothes from the likes of Liz Claiborne for your child at almost 40% off! Read more... (388 words)
