How To Take Care Of The Diamonds In Your Jewelry Pendants

Don’t forget that although diamonds may be strong and resilient, they should still be looked after with care. Consider them like fine china. Without care and attention, they can scratch and chip. All those oils from your skin and cosmetics, hair sprays and perfumes can also make your diamonds very dirty.

There is a number of ways you can clean, store and protect your diamonds. You can use a commercial jewelry cleaner to quickly clean your diamonds and make them look pretty. Either dip your jewelry lightly in or soak them fully in a tub to give them an ultrasound bath. Another good way is to use cold water and ammonia. This trick works very well to dissolve any oils that might have accumulated around your stones.
