Strength and low weight are properties becoming more in demand in our country. Titanium has become the obvious choice for these applications. Racing industries like boats, auto, and motorcycles are rife with titanium parts. Many of the higher end cars like BMW and Mercedes have embraced titanium as a dependable and performance enhancing metal.
Another example of the effectiveness of titanium was the first massive use in the SR-71 blackbird aircraft. Since that time the military and commercial aircraft have an abundance of this metal throughout their aircraft.
Titanium is increasingly used in sporting goods equipment such as golf clubs, tennis rackets and bike frames. My favorite driver is made from titanium and it performs the best of any drivers I have used.
If you have allergy problems then you will appreciate jewelry and glasses that use titanium instead of traditional metals in their construction. Because titanium is hypo-allergenic it will be a problem free item to wear close to your skin.
Do horses prefer titanium? I would say that the answer is yes. When they are fitted with shoes that are made from titanium they are definitely going to feel much lighter and will last much longer. That is why farriers choose them over steel these days. Read more... (375 words)

The SR-71 Blackhawk stealth aircraft was the first to use titanium on a large scale. Commercial aircraft and other military planes have huge amounts of this metal in their designs. Titanium really flies these days.
If you are a golfer then you know that titanium is making an impact on sporting goods as well. My Big Bertha Calloway driver is made of titanium and I am hitting the ball farther than ever. Baseball bats and hiking equipment also use a high amount of titanium.
The fact that it is hypoallergenic lends itself to everything from frames for your glasses to fine jewelry and unique wedding bands. Glasses in particular are lighter, and more durable. Great qualities to have in any metal. Read more... (378 words)

Many people around the world still practice quilting as a hobby.Though quite easy, there are several challenges that come along with it especially with getting a simple and easy pattern to work with.It is not quite easy to find an easy pattern to work with.This article has compiled a few easy patterns to make newbie easily catch up.These patterns are so simple that a newbie can easily learn them and come up with something like a blanket within 24hours.
Whole cloth quilts.Some people will argue that this is not a real quilt but it is.This is just as it sounds a whole piece of cloth or fabric that is the same as a pieced together quilt.It also has a top with batting as well as backing.It just has the patter stitched into it.This makes for a very fast project and they are great for people who are just starting out.
