If worn appropriately, men’s earrings can make a man even look better. These pieces of jewelry have become increasingly and widely acceptable as a fashion statement for men. Also, they have become the symbols of courage and toughness.

Types of men’s earrings:

Studs

These are men’s earrings that seem to hang on the earlobe without a noticeable connection point from the front view. Studs are usually either made of a solid diamond or of precious metal or semi-precious stone.

Diamond studs are great choice for the red carpet and the club scene. Simple diamond studs are very versatile as men’s earrings.

Hoops

These were the original choice for men when it came to earrings. Hoop earrings are designed like semi-circular or circular rings. They usually have metal tubing and thin wire attachments that pierce the ear.

Hoop earrings were used as codes for sexual orientation in some regions in Europe in the 90s. The number of earrings worn and where they wear them determined sexual preference.

Men’s hoop earrings are made in pairs and these are worn depending on the style and taste of the wearer. Men wear them either on one ear alone or on both. For a more stylish and unique look, the ideal type is the gold hoop.
