Are Leather Shoes Really Worth it?

While some people believe that wearing leather shoes is cruel and immoral, many others will not wear anything but shoes made of real leather.

There are many reasons why leather shoes are so popular among millions of people around the world.

First of all, leather shoes are durable. Yes, they may cost more, but they will last you much longer than manmade shoes. Real leather doesnt crack and tear as easily and if you give your shoes proper care, they may last you decades.

Items made of real leather are also much more comfortable, because they’re softer and stretch to the shape of your foot.

Leather shoes naturally allow feet to breathe, which prevents them from swelling and reduces the smell. Excessive sweating can develop fungus, so this is a pretty good reason to consider wearing real leather footwear.

If you decided to purchase leather shoes or already own a pair or three, dont forget that in order for them to last long, you need to give them proper care. Thankfully, leather is not a high-maintenance material, so it is pretty easy to do so.  Read more... (398 words)
