More than 100,000 people injure their feet at work every year in the US. These injuries are way too common for something that can be prevented by using the proper safety footwear. It is really only a commonsense thing to get yourself some protective shoes or footwear for work as our feet get abused enough on daily basis throughout the day to not justify them.

The Ugg Boot or just Uggs is a common term for a sort of sheepskin boot which has been made in Australia and New Zealand for just about two hundred years. Originally, they were called ‘Ug or Ugh Boots’ which is short for ‘Ugly’. However, an American importer (Koolaburra) suggested the the name Ugg comes from the way that the boot ‘hugs’ the wearer’s foot and legs. However, due to trademark issues, Uggs are way more regularly than unknown in the retail market simply as Sheepskin Boots.
Originally, in Australia and New Zealand this comfortable and warm footwear was being worn by social groups like Bogans, Westies and Bevans in public. However, most other Australians would only wear them around the house or at the most just on a trip to the neighborhood store. The boots definitely became trendy during the sixties with surfers and competitive swimmers as they kept them warm whilst out of the water.
