Shoe stores in the local malls and department stores have done a rather insignificant job of keeping appropriate shoe sizes well stocked. Somewhere along the line the mean show size went from a 6 or 7 straight up to 8 and 9 for a woman’s shoe and even larger for men’s shoes. This is a new development since I know my mother, who was blessed with perfect little size 5 1/2 toes, was able to stop by the shoe store and buy her heels and pumps. Over time, though, those of us that need shoes in small, wide, narrow, and large sizes are pretty much on our own.
The children’s section may very well be filled with shoes that will support my smaller feet, but this pretty much means I am also confined to children’s styles. When did the average shoe size for a young woman skyrocket to a size 8? The children’s shoes that are available do not come in heels or even adult style sandals. There are a lot people out there that are just hanging on to their old jewelry because they are either unwilling to part with it, or they don’t understand how easy it is to turn it into some cash. With the troubled economy, though, more people are starting to reevaluate their necessities and are changing their minds about their gold.
Many people are looking into the concept of a gold party as a way to part with their items and receive some much-needed cash. More than that, though, it’s an opportunity for a fun social gathering where friends and family can get together and sell off a lot of their unneeded gold.
Gold parties aren’t a new idea. They’ve been around for some time because there are a lot of people that feel reluctant about selling gold to pawn shops or other strange little shops. They fear that someone there will take advantage of them because they won’t have anyone there to support them. This isn’t a problem at a gold party.

The business of wholesale is defined as selling a large quantity of goods with the intent that those goods will be resold. All different types of items are sold as wholesale goods such as food, handbags and shoes. Wholesale clothing is one of the largest industries to be resold and these items are popping up everywhere.
Clothing to be sold as resale can be received from many different sources. The large majority of these items come from manufacturers overseas. The items in these factories are created in large quantities and then sold to the highest bidder. These manufacturers sell their items directly to resellers who then sell them to the public.
High end clothing stores and department stores are another source for resellers to find wholesale items. The majority of these stores purchase their store items many months before they are to be sold. If these items do not sell or they are not current with the current trends, these stores can not sell them and they look for other outlets to sell these items. This is where resellers come in. On the popular television show “The Dog Whisperer” we see a man who has a remarkable ability to communicate with dogs, and train them as well. The book “The Man Who Listens to Horses” relays a similar story about a man who is able to do the same thing with horses. This book was written by Monty Roberts, and it takes the reader on a journey into the internal workings of a horse’s mind. In this article I offer up my opinion of the book, and will hit upon what I think are some of the highlights other readers will enjoy reading about.
Monty Roberts has a story to tell; not only of himself, but of the horses he loves so much. Monty grew up in an abusive household, and his father was abusive not only to him, but to his horses as well. As Monty grew older he started to formulate a different viewpoint.
