Jewelry for mother’s can be a representational type that signifies the mother’s children. The representation is achieved by using birthstones and can consist of the childrens’ stones and include the father and mother’s stones as well. Birthstones represent the month in which a person was born.
Representational family jewelry is not something new. The concept goes back as far as the Bible. The High Priest in the temple wore a garment that was decorated by gemstones symbolizing each of the twelve tribes of Israel.
Legend has it that the first symbolic jewelry for mother’s consisted of two wedding bands joined together by the birthstones of the sons of the mother. Mother’s rings were very popular in the 1960’s and the birthstones were usually set from left to right in order of birth.
Birthstones are given certain attributes or powers that have come down from age to age. The person wearing the stone is supposed to get power from it. A mother wearing a child’s birthstone is said to receive those attributes. A mother with a child born in March would wear an Aquamarine. Aquamarine is supposed to bring love and affection to the wearer who is supposed to be able to make friends easily. The mother would be well respected and liked in the community and should have many friends. Dads have spoken and designers have listened, Make a diaper bag for dads! As a dad myself I’m quite happy to see that dads everywhere now have the choice to carry a messenger style diaper bag they can be proud of.
I can remember one day I took the kids to an amusement park for the day. Excited, we got dressed and hopped in the car. Once we got there I popped out the double stroller and were ready to roll, so I thought. Left sitting in the trunk was a bright green, floral, Shanghai Tang silk diaper bag! For those dads that don’t know, as I didn’t, Shanghai Tang is a very fashionable Asian style bag. It looks absolutely fabulous when carried by my wife but now I had to tote it along. Although it seems OK to be carrying a girly bag around as long as your wife is there, doing it alone makes me quite self conscious.

There are so many things that men wouldn’t understand about ladies, one of that would be the craze women have for footwear. Can I woman ever have too many shoes, that is the big question and also depends on who you ask will determine the answer. Women have a desire, a passion for shoes. When they see a stunning pair of shoes that they like, that is the pair of shoes they become determined to buy, everything else become unimportant, regardless if they have anything in their wardrobe that will match or suite the shoes, regardless on the price, the quality or the comfort.

In 1849, several thousands of people migrated to California to find out the gold deposits for making more and more money. Several methods were used by people to achieve gold but the widely used method was panning. People used to make attempts in search of gold for even months.
This was a highly desirable metal and people were not ready to end their struggle without achieving their goal. Their urge to find more and more gold increased with finding gold flake once. They eventually become more enthusiastic in their efforts and tend to strive much harder in lust of having more gold. If they achieved some flakes of gold in their first attempt, they used to struggle for more.
As the number of emigrants was increasing, the government also felt the importance of that once unknown place. The government also extracted the gold deposits.
